Our Lantern Artists

Glenn, Renate & Emma

Belgrave Lantern Parade artists have been helping the community make lanterns every year since the first Belgrave Lantern Parade in 2007. Their regular program of lantern-making workshops and demonstrations starts in March each year and leads to the annual Winter Solstice Parade in June.

Our Artists are available for commissions any time of the year. Lanterns make sensational attractions at birthday parties, weddings, concerts and other special events. They can also look rather lovely on the verandah or in a kids bedroom as a corner lamp.

Each Artist can also run workshops for individuals or groups.

See below for information and contact details of our Lantern Artists.
